"The title really sums up this hotel. There was nothing either outstandingly good or outstandingly bad about this hotel. Everything was 'OK.' The location is nothing special. The room was completely standard, as was the food. Nothing stood out. I didn't try the pool/gym - I expect they were OK too."

Making our way to our room, number 46, we were disappointed to be greeted with painters and decorators in the unkempt corridors and rooms leading to ours however, we accepted this was part of the hotel upkeep. "We didn’t stay - after a 350 mile drive we arrived to find it very firmly closed. Ironic you send this questionnaire after your reservations person (based, unhelpful,y, in Arizona) spent over an hour and a half on the day getting us alternative accommodation."

"Excellent stay with friendly hosts. Comfortable and cosy ensuite room with TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Very good, freshly cooked breakfast. Ample on street parking available and within 5-10 minutes walk of Skegness Pier and easy driving distance to Butlins. I would certainly stay again if seeking bed and breakfast accommodation in Skegness."
