“Very nice hotel, convenient for castle and cathedral. Great garden room, bathroom could do with a little touch up. All areas look like some update was done, but more was needed. Good breakfast, gf bread and sausages. All in all I would not hesitate to stay again.”

“Arrived about 10 minutes before 15:00 and was told that they were making guests wait until 15:00 to check in! Paid deposit on card to order food to room bill but when had the meal in the restaurant there was no record of this and the waiter went to reception to sort it out. When he came back there was still no record and I had to pay with credit card. When I checked out I mentioned this and the receptionist said they had forgotten to tick a box on the system but they would refund the £50...

“I was really impressed with my room. It was also very clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff were brilliant upon arrival and also when i departed. Only negative feedback i give is i don't think they should charge customers for wanting to leave their luggage on day of departure. Customers who don't drive will more than likely want to leave luggage somewhere safe but i feel like this service should be free.”

“Great place to stay ”

“Room size was very good, we stayed in a twin room. Lovely walk in shower room. Everything we needed for a 1 night stay. Tea and coffee making facilities. Only downside was there's not a mini fridge in the room. Lovely and clean and we will definitely be staying again. Excellent value for the money] money and plenty of free parking. Much closer to the town centre than we had anticipated. Great stay thank you ”

“Toooooo hot in the room. No A/C available; only an old fan moving the hot air. Difficult to breathe. Very very little room, without table and chair to work (in my case) or to seat in a place different to the bed. I ask in reception to change my room; nothing else available. They took me a table and 1 chair, so I couldn't move in the room. Weak wi-fi line ”
