Located in north-central Thailand, Wat Pha Sorn Kaew sees a number of Thai tourists but is virtually unknown to most foreign travelers. There are two big draws here- the five sitting Buddhas, and the fantastic temple, which is covered in nearly five million mosaic tiles. Perched on an 830 meter high peak, it offers commanding views of its surroundings. The mountainous terrain and cooler climate have led many to call this area the "Little Switzerland of Thailand."

"Absolutely horrible. From checking in to falsely advertising room. It was not what I booked for. Then shown other rooms and told we need to pay extra. Unit was old worn out and the bed was absolutely disgusting. No mattress just under lay on wood. Sore backs every morning. I would never recommend this property to anyone ever. Summary Worst property I have ever stayed in "
