Kibo Palace Hotel Moshi

"Modern hotel in central Moshi. Staff were amazing! My suitcase lock broke & I couldn’t open the outside of my suitcase & they came up with tools to save the day. At breakfast, they accommodated my vegan needs & the cook even made fresh sweet treats for me. They helped me get a safe taxi to my starting tour hotel. I picked a Kilimanjaro view room & was given a 7th floor one. It had fantastic windows which would have made for a spectacular view but the clouds kept Kili hidden for my stay. Location was great to walk to Union Cafe, ATM or shop next door for water/snacks. Kibo Hotel helped make the start of my Tanzanian vacation go even better than expected."

"The property was exactly as described. We arrived fairly late in the evening and booked very last minute so I really appreciated how they were able to accommodate us. Aileen, the property manager, arranged our pickup and return ride to the airport. She was kind, very responsive, and also made us breakfast! If you’re looking for something simple for a night or two I recommend booking this place."

"Beautiful hotel with kind helpful staff. Big clean rooms and we enjoyed especially the pool areas. My only complain was the food menu, it was quite boring with only italien food. And no fish on the meny which was a big suprise to me. Also traveled with a child and it would be a appriciated with some child perspective and have some kids meals with reduced prices on the meny. Also I didn't like you could smoke in the resturant."

"I have been to 26 countries and have stayed at many hotels. I must say that at Kaliwa, staff go out of the way to make sure the guests feel like home. Tanzanian people are super kind and honest, and this hotel has the best of the best. Specially Kami, thanks for all you did for us. We miss you already !"

"Our stay at AMEG was fabulous. Staff were courteous and friendly. The food was outstanding and the junior suite gave us lots of room to spread out and relax. We used AMEG for a base to do day trips to Kilimanjaro including a day hike and back to the Mandura Huts and to the Materuni Village and Waterfall. AMEG even arranged a taxi drive into town for me to get more Shillings at the bank. If you ask they will let you know the correct spots to see Mt. Kilamanjaro from the lodge. We would highly recommend staying here."
