"This is a family owned property and they are great people who are genuinely concerned with you and your stay. The rooms are traditional Icelandic. They have a simple but nice breakfast and they will cook to order eggs also. There is a nice Middle Eastern restaurant across the street (ORIENTO) and it is family owned too and food is really good. "The hotel is incredibly convenient, located in the heart of Reykjavik, only steps away from shops, museums, and restaurants. It serves an excellent breakfast, has a bar/seating area for the evenings, and the reception team were very helpful with restaurant recommendations and transportation advice. This isn't the hotel to pick if you want luxury, but it is a clean, comfortable, affordable hotel in the heart of the city. I will stay there again the next time I am in Reykjavik."
