"I'm a U.S. citizen and was stuck in Canada, waiting for my passport to arrive in the mail. Everyone at the hotel was friendly, considerate, and genuinely concerned about my well-being. Each time I extended my stay (ended up waiting about a week for my passport), they asked if I was okay and ensured I was able to afford the extension. While my passport never arrived (I ended up having to travel to the Consulate for an emergency replacement), the Altona staff were so great, making the experience so much better. Really appreciate their kindness."
