"It was so nice landing at the airport, he had a taxi waiting for us, took us the the pier and a 2 min boat ride to his pier, where Henry was waiting with a big smile :) He gave us a tour of the little island and every day we rode his bikes to the pier to take the taxi to our dive boat and back after having a delicious homemade breakfast. The view from the room is amazing and we watched the sunset at the beach on the property every night . We absolutely adored Henry !! He went diving with us and was so kind. We will definitely be back "

"This was an amazing place!!! The staff was absolutely outstanding - super friendly and helpful. The food was first rate! The island is truly paradise on earth. We loved the excursions, the snorkeling was fantastic and the beaches were beautiful. Our bungalow was just perfect - and they did a great job cleaning every day. We had a fantastic time! "The Kori Kori House was perfect for our stay on Fakarava. Turia was the perfect host and extremely helpful. She arranged airport pick up and drop off taxi service through Fakarava yacht services. She arranged a half day blue lagoon excursion that was one of the best excursions of our trip. The excursion company was Rotoava exursion. Highly recommend both the Kori Kori house and the excursion company. The Kori Kori house is very close to the lagoon with its own strip of beach and kayaks available to use. They have their own dock which is a nice place to view all of the different fish species and black tip reef sharks swimming around. The Kori Kori snack was the perfect place to have lunch. I had the best fish burger ever! Enjoy the view of the lagoon while eating amazing food and enjoying a cold beer. Thank you so much to Turia and her family for a wonderful stay on Fakarava. We hope to visit again!"

"Amazing property and staff"

"Excellent access to some of the best diving in the world. Located right on the water and Tumakahoa pass, this location is right on shark alley and some of the most beautiful coral I’ve seen. The property is rustic but over the water and right on the reef. It is a lot like camping. Cold showers, no locking doors, damp bedding when it rains and few amenities are all part of the experience. The boat ride from Fakarava north is a little more than an hour and can really only be done in the daytime. Our flight was delayed so we had to stay in Fakarava north, which was fully booked and ended up paying for tetamanu and the pension on the north side. The staff is friendly but don’t go out if their way in hospitality. We had to ask for basics like toilet paper and they couldn’t accomodate any dietary requests or snacks when it wasn’t time for a scheduled meal. You eat what they serve, which is pancakes and fish for the most part. It was all delicious though. The dive guides were very nice and showed us some of the most incredible diving I have experienced. For me it was a special experience, but not appropriate for people that need extra care or a honeymoon type of experience like on Moorea or bora bora. "
