"The hosts, Ben and Lisa, were extremely helpful and their resort is a wonderful place to spend a restful holiday. The choice of activities on the island is good and you can venture further afield for whale watching/.swimming, diving etc. Food was great and all in all, an excellent short break for us."

"We went to the Royal Sunset with 6 of our Tongan young friends who help us at a humanitarian clinic we work in. We are leaving Tonga and wanted to thank them for all they do. We decided to spend the night at the Royal Sunset. The rooms were filthy. The linens were stained and the rooms were unbearably hot. The pool water was brown. "I was visiting a friend volunteering for the Peace Corps just down the road so my location was critical. Was pleasantly surprised upon arriving at the White Sands resort. My room was well apportioned and very clean. It looked out through palms to a beautiful white sand beach and ocean. They even strung a hammock just outside my door which made for excellent down time.
