For Can Tho, the largest city in Vietnam's Mekong Delta area, I booked a day tour with Susan, a 26-year-old woman (with perfect English!) from a nearby village. For four hours we biked around Binh Minh (just outside of Can Tho), where we visited beautiful temples, rice fields, and a local market. We then went back to the riverside location for a night in a homestay. I would highly recommend booking with Susan for an authentic Mekong Delta experience. "The hotel is gorgeous, the rooms are large, the buffet breakfast is huge, and the food is fresh! The iced Vietnamese coffee was delicious! The private beach area with walkway above the busy street, with chairs, towels, and drinks/food option was fabulous! The staff is kind, and helpful in all ways. They arranged a limousine ride back to Ho Chi Minh City airport for us, and it was wonderful! We will return again for sure! "
