“A landmark in this lively town. Huge place, lots of history. A little primitive, but comfortable.”

“The bed was nice and place spacious but for the rest of the equipment whether shower, kettle, hair dryer, they worked very badly. Restaurant very poor, we waited more than 1hr with my 2 years old daughter for our dinner which was terrible and even got sick.They told me that they were understaffed. The place is very calm though. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly but that's not enough to make up for this bad experience. I would not recommend it.”

“An absolute Gem, Nicole and Jimmy are wonderful hosts, very accomodating, informative and exceptionally good homecooked cuisine. There is a shop on site and a bank next door. Relaxing beautiful, well maintained garden. Highly recommend.”

“Great place to stay while in the area, best price for money, great restaurant, nice shop. You can pay in US and Euro if you run out of local money which I found very convenient.”

“The hotel was about what I expected for Antrisabe, but I think the price is too high. Par for the course is the lack of toiletries, but there was also no towel. Otherwise it is barebones but serviceable with a friendly staff.”

“This property has been open for a year, but I was only the second foreign guest to date. The location probably explains why, as it is deep inside a slum neighborhood with only dirt roads and lots of mud puddles. However, the saving grace is the hotel's management, who went above and beyond in providing excellent service. On the night we checked-in, torrential rain made it impossible to go out and get dinner. Staff members drove us in their 4x4 to a restaurant, patiently waited for us, and drove……
