“We loved the ambience of the hotel. Everywhere you looked were bits of history from photographs and paintings to the antique furniture. The room was comfortable with all the amenities you could need and the staff was friendly and attentive to all our needs. It was a FABULOUS find!”

“El alojamiento está en medio del bosque, al lado de una autovía que conecta con el centro de la ciudad en 5 minutos de coch. El hotel está muy bien, las instalaciones cuidadas y el personal es muy amable. La habitación doble económica era muy amplia y silenciosa y la cama bastante cómoda. En el baño no había plato de ducha como tal, era el suelo del propio baño como ya hemos visto en otros baños en Bulgaria, pero estaba muy limpio. ”

“Arrived hereoretty late and nobody picked up the phone to let us in. Eventually tracked down someone and they said it was full. I showed the reservation and they said they did not do third part bookings They saw that the price I paid was noticeably lower than thir rates and laughed in my face and left me to go fend for myself and find another spot last minute. ”

“Ex-communist palace, so nice big bathtub for decadent soaking for up to three, with lashings of hot water. Breakfast OK but a little variable, depending on number of guests. Superb barman but likely to be leaving soon, as way too good for that place. Good value. Very nice views over park, monument and river. Friendly reception and breakfast room staff. Watch out for miserable staff and possible rip-offs in the Mechana (sort of rustic, Bulgarian-themed restaurant). Food was OK and chef was...
