“The setting of the hotel is superb – nice beach (the water has great mineral quality to it), different walks at the door step (Congo-Nile trail or lakeside paths, coffee washing station nearby is great to visit). The food is excellent (from the local vegetable and fruit garden) and rooms are spacious and well-maintained. The downsides are 11 km of dirt track in poor condition (allow extra 10-15 min relative to google maps estimate) and rooms can be too warm at night (24C at night, no aircon) ”

Toll fanden wir auch, dass man das Essen an einer langen Tafel einnimmt und so Menschen aus aller Welt kennenlernt. Philippe ist ein toller Gastgeber, der uns viele tolle Tipps für unsere weitere Reise durch Ruanda gegeben hat. Die Tageswanderung mit Philippe als Guide durch die umliegenden Dörfer mit……
