⭐ Title: Great staff, but significant maintenance issues during our stay I visited Dhaka for one week to visit my ill uncle and stayed at Hotel De Meridian. While the staff were friendly and helpful, our experience was unfortunately let down by several important facility issues. The hotel is advertised as having fully working amenities, but during our stay: • The lift was out of order for the entire duration. I have a lower back condition, and climbing to the 5th floor took a very long time and caused me discomfort. Management explained the lift was broken and said repairs would take 24 hours, but this continued for all our days there. • The room telephone did not work at all – we had to shout loudly from the 4th floor to get any assistance. • The television was also not working. • We noticed bed bugs in the bed, and both my daughters developed itchy spots on their bodies from bites. • The toilet was very dirty and had no ventilation, so it had a strong unpleasant smell. • The water from the tap was reddish in colour; when I asked about this, I was told it was "normal water" but this is not acceptable for a hotel. • The fridge in the room was not working properly, inside it was dusty and we even saw small cockroaches inside. We were unable to keep water or food cold. The only positive point was that the staff were kind and arranged our airport transfer as included in our booking. We did not try the breakfast, but the dinner we had on the first night was not good.

My experience with Sky City Hotel was the Best Stay I had in Dhaka. I specially appreciate the excellent service provided by front desk people like: NAIMUL, ROBIUL, SUNNY, and the room Manager ALAM. I will go back to Sky City Hotel for my next trip to Dhaka again!! Thank you. J

No room door key card given initially, towels dirty, asked for a towel from the reception at night and was not sent. I don’t recommend.

Exellent service at this hotel. Close to Male and Ferry station. The highlight of this hotel is value to what you paid in Maldives and excellent service. The staffs are amazing.
