I stayed here on 02/03/2023 the pictures of the hotel itself looked great but the condition of the hotel is terrible and very deceiving. First of all, the AC unit was taped together with cellotape. There was no hot water, the room was infested with mosquitos, I slept an hour but then woke up to having been bitten all over and at 4am a very large droning noise started which when I queried it, was the water pump. Not sure why they'd want to turn that on at 4am with a full house of guests! On check out, the receptionist gave me the bill and attempted to take full payment for the room even though I had paid online. He also tried to charge me 4000BDT transfer to and from DAC airport even though they told me the cost was 1000BDT on the phone before I booked. He called his boss and said I am causing 'jamela' and refusing to pay though I explained I had already paid online and that I won't agree to pay the 4k transfer fees when they told me it's be 2k round trip. Terrible experience, don't stay here.

Good place to get your head down before a flight, its actually very well maintained and very reasonably priced.

Excellent in all respects- I have experience of different premium quality hotels in Dhaka and Platinum Grand was far superior. Staff were courteous and helpful in every respect - quality of hotel decor and fittings was very good. Excellent comfortable room, and food was well produced from varied menu. Rooftop pool was very pleasant and clean. Excellent value for money.

First, I want to say that everyone on the staff here is so kind and helpful. We especially enjoyed getting to know Bakul. She made us feel very at home and helped us enjoy our stay. The security measures also made us feel very safe. Also, our room itself was very clean and the housekeeping seemed to be done well. And it is very convenient for getting to the airport quickly, especially Ina city with difficult traffic like Dhaka is. Unfortunately, there were a few issues: our TV only got local channels or channels from India, unlike what was advertised. The pool was never open and didn't look like it had been in a very long time and when I tried to go to the spa or gym , it was actually just a construction site. Also, the cleanliness of the hallway going to our room was not so high. For our stay, which was just mostly sleeping in the room, it was fine but if I had been counting on some of the other amenities I would have been very disappointed.
