"Well equipped beautiful cottage in the Loire countryside. Very Clean. Owners are very welcoming and friendly and have a vineyard 1/2 an hour away - worth the trip and the tasting. The house is close to Saumur which is lovely and has lots to see and do, including nice restaurants and is well located for visiting some famous historical sites like Chinon and Fontavraud Abbey. a very relaxing break."

"Petite escale chez Annie pour passer la nuit avant de rejoindre le lendemain Saumur situé à 20 min. Chambres, salle de bain et cuisine bien équipé, tout est prévu. "The cottage was in a lovely setting, pretty and peaceful. We found the accommodations comfortable and clean. It had lots of the French country charm we were looking for. The kitchen was well appointed and made cooking easy. The only oddity was that you had to walk through one bedroom to get to the second. "

3500 SQF/HISTORIC HOUSE WITH WARMED POOL IN THE OLD SAUMUR/GREAT VIEWS

"Massive thank you to Gilles and his wife for an amazing stay at this property. The photos, whilst accurate, do not do the house justice. It is truly amazing (and huge). We stayed for 2 weeks. Location is perfect, right in the heart of Saumur. Check in was easy and it was lovely to be met at the property and shown around, even when we were much later arriving than anticipated. The house is spotless and has everything you could possibly need. The indoor pool is a rare luxury, considering the location, with the added bonus of a fantastic games room with pool table, pinball and table football. You can never be bored in this house. Communication with Gilles was excellent and he gave great recommendations about what to see in the area. I really can’t rate this house highly enough. I can’t wait to go back. "
