We liked that the parking attendant was friendly and so was the front office staff. What the hotel lacked was proper amount of blanket for the cold weather and shower that drained properly. While we were there for two nights, we tired to use the fireplace to keep ourselves warm, but the chimney was quite small and the room would quickly fill up with smoke. The drive to the property was quite arduous as the roads are not fully paved. Overall, for the price we paid and the amenities that were provided, we would not visit the property again. The lake is lovely, the weather is great to get cozy, and the river is heard from the cabins which is great to rest and relax. There are several easy walks you can do surrounded by trees and mountains that will help you recharge. Las dos habitaciones que tienen chimenea no están frente al lago ni tienen vista a este (detalle que no se especifica a la hora de visualizar las mismas), además que la chimenea está en una esquina de la habitación (no en el medio) y el cuarto tiene un techo muy alto, es difícil calentarlo con una pequeña chimenea en esas condiciones. El baño no es muy bonito y es poco espacioso, no hay donde poner las cosas. Personnel très sympathique. Les chambres sont simples mais propres. Le cadre est parfait. Le rapport qualité/prix par rapport aux autres hôtels est correct. Le petit déjeuner est très bien. De plus, il y a un chemin pour tenter d’observer le Quetzal. Concernant l’accès, cela se fait très bien. Je suis monté en 2x2 par temps de pluie. Je recommanderai un 4x4 aux personnes n’ayant pas d’expérience sur chemin et montagne. Nb: début novembre il fait frais, les chambres ne sont pas chauffées.
