"Villa de Palmas is an absolutely gorgeous estate with immaculate grounds and mere steps to the most amazing beach. We never saw another person on the beach during our entire visit. The main house has some wear and tear, but that pales in comparison to the spaciousness, unobstructed ocean views, super nice pool, and beach access. Our favorite spots were the gazebo with lots of colorful chairs overlooking the ocean and the back porch of the main house. And the pool of course! Having three separate buildings worked perfect for our large family of adults to have their own space and there was plenty of room for us all to gather together in the main house for meals and board games. Lightweight beach chairs are provided. The owners were very responsive to all of my emailed questions. ConciergeMaria would text us back immediately during our stay. The kitchen could use some more modern conveniences (e.g, a larger microwave, sharper knives, griddle, larger pots and serving bowls/platters, etc) for preparing large family meals, but we were able to make it all work with what was there. Dishwasher and gas top stove were great. Very nice having a laundry room.Bring your own detergent, shampoos and soap or you can also find whatever you need in any of the local stores. The beds were very comfortable. However, the pullout sofas, while maybe fine for kids, are not good for adults. We did not have any issues with water temp or pressure. 100% recommend!! *I added lots of pictures for reference"

"This house has a ton of charm with a very casual feel to it. Small swimming pool was extremely nice for those days of sunning on the decks then cooling off. The Beach was very close with 3 min or less walk. The master King Bed was very comfortable and had its on walkout balcony deck with beautiful views. There was a 2nd bedroom with large bed and bunk above, which would be nice if you had kids. The pictures accurately illustrate the house. The house is very private, which we liked and was perfect for our stay. It was also well appointed with towels, beach gear, TP, trash bags, coffee maker, coffee filters, etc. Jethro “Host” was extremely kind and helpful & responsive with our inquiries, which gave us a peace of mind. We will be staying again. "

"We absolutely LOVED our stay the property and on Eleuthera! This home was perfect for exactly what we were seeking- peace, isolation, ocean front. We are active adventurers and divers so the home was perfectly situated where we could access both the north and the south parts of the island. (If you are a diver, go diving with Chad Sinden down in Cape Eleuthera!) The home had everything we could need to cook and be comfortable while also giving us access to a gorgeous windswept beach on the atlantic side. The beds were very comfortable and the AC and Wifi worked perfectly. This is one of our favorite homes we've ever stayed at and we travel a lot! "

"There was something for everyone at Sungate. Our group consisted of 2 families with 7 kids ranging from 5 - 13 yrs old. Beautiful double bay beach to walk on. Beautiful sunrise from the master and living or porch/deck. Great coral to snorkel around. Everyone loved hanging out in and by the pool. Moms found books inside to read. Played games and watched movies at night. Great kitchen to cook in. Made some wonderful memories at Sungate. Thank you Marco!"
