Perfect getaway
We had the opportunity for a quick get away to the Saugatuck/Douglas area from Chicago. Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids (6 and 8)) chose the Fox Den property on a whim and it was the best choice we could’ve made. The property was so unique. It felt like we were tucked away on our own private retreat. The house was immaculately maintained and we loved the record player and expansive deck that allowed us to relax and recharge. The owners thought of everything here and the little touches were perfect (coffee bar, spices, local craft drinks.) this house was walking distance to ice cream and lunch spots and a 5 minute drive to shops, restaurants, beaches, etc. The hot tub was lovely tucked up under the trees and the fire pit was also a great bonus. We will definitely get back for an adults only trip but the kids said “it was the coolest house ever.”
