“Small, but had everything we needed! Bed was very comfortable, lots of supplies in the kitchen. Easy walk from station, and the transport to the Eden Project was a plus! Also, the washer/dryer came in handy for us, allowing us to pack half as much clothing! Claire is a lovely host!”

“Beautifully finished apartment and to a high standard. The bed was lovely and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating on what was a very busy evening for them. Food was lovely and presented well, amazing coffee too. Location was great just what we needed for our trip.”

“The hotel was exactly as described in photos. Clean, classy and very good value for money. We couldn’t hear any guests within property. Shower was powerful and nice and bathroom was clean. Bed comfortable, duvet thick but airy which was the perfect combo. Outside space from the room was well presents and clean. No bad smell and easy check in. Only thing I would critique is we couldn’t open window wide enough for our personal choice and could do with curtains as well blinds as that morning sun……

“Silvermine House is amazing! An ideal house for our family group of 5 adults and 3 teenage boys. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and multiple places to gather and relax. The house seems isolated but is only 5 or 10 minutes from restaurants and shopping. The views are stunning! Sonya and Paul are wonderful hosts, who provided everything we needed. It's a long trip from the US to Cornwall, but Silvermine House was worth every mile of it!”

“The interior of the property was disappointing. Beds were not made and the pillows were very poor. The kitchen was perfect, the living room average, and the toilets were very clean and tidy. The shower space is very small, so I wouldn’t recommend it, but I understand that is a limitation of the property. The staff welcomed us well, but at checkout I had a negative experience. I asked for 15 minutes to finish my breakfast since checkout time was not yet reached, but the staff insisted on taking……
