We actually didn’t realise it was all self check-in /out when we booked. You don’t get to meet staff. All instructions are sent to you. Down side was that we were only provided with one large towel and two small ones and when we contacted the property we got no response. We also made them aware that the door handle was loose. Car parking was close by. "Booked room for 3 nights. After 2 we were told we would have to move rooms due to an over booking. We had to check out of our room for 11 and our new room wouldn't be ready until 3pm. So we were without a room during the day. The hotel has recently been taken over and is now geared to families with children and our room was next to an adventure play park which was very noisy from 8am to 9:30 pm. The hotel spa was closed until next easter. The brasserie was upstairs and was near impossible to...

"The staff at the IBIS in Coleraine were great - very friendly and helpful. However, my room had a distinct smell of smoke, as if a previous occupant had been a smoker - Not good! Also, no safe in the room! Also, maybe you need to review your policy towards young children in the bar area. say after 9pm, as there were some evenings where the bar sounded more like a kids playground than a bar! Food was good, particularly the roasts of the day."

The restraunt and bar being onsite meant that we didn't have to go searching for somewhere in the local area. Breakfast was superb with a wide choice.
