The hotel has been beautifully referbished (some rooms still being worked on. Our reception was friendly and professional, our room lovely, the evening meal, a mixture of classic cooking with a modern twist, delicious. Breakfast was great too. A young family have recently taken over the hotel, and we could see they are going to make a great success of it. Every one was friendly and helpful, making the whole stay so enjoyable. It is convenient to Channel Ferries and has safe parking. The staff are very helpful and dinner presentation and food excellent. Breakfast was also good value. This was a convenient stopover on our return journey. The reception was welcoming and the food is so good - it was not a surprise to find the restaurant absolutely full. Very warm on first night so left bedroom window open in attempt to cool room. Unfortunately this allowed a couple of mosquitos in and suffered consequences. Easy to find, on-site parking, friendly welcome, spacious and clean room with on-suite bathroom and toilet, very good food, excellent service.
