There was very little light in the room. Difficult to read or do paper work. We asked for maintenance to correct some room issues but they were not addressed during our stay. Very nice and helpful staff.

Details matter, and this property just falls a bit short of being recommended. The trip here started with being notified that the fitness center was closed for renovation. It was a "selling point" when the trip was booked. The beds are worn to the point of feeling like sleeping in a bowl. The room showed wear-and-tear on areas that shouldn't be for a property of this price level. The microwave in the lobby doesn't work (to heat up the snacks that are also sold in the lobby)...and wasn't labeled as out-of-order. Probably the worst aspect of the trip was while at breakfast, we witnessed a maintenance staff member kill a bat with a rock on the sidewalk (throwing the rock multiple times on the animal) right outside the window of the breakfast area. That could have been handled better.
