“Price was a bit on thd high side for what you got. No Sky TV had to find somewhere else to watch the Rugby Test match.”

“When choosing this beautiful location we were originally looking at staying in Opotiki (15 kms south) but decided this was a far better option based on the ammenities and views offered. The price was also less than staying in your standard motel in town. Our host was there to meet us and made us feel most welcome explaining the options and set up. He recommended a wonderful restaurant for dinner ( The Royal) and we weren’t disappointed at all. The surrounding area is rich with native birds……

“Place was exceptional. Not sure about what happens with the service. Do we wash the towels ourselves and make the bed. We went away to golf for the day and the towels had not been replaced and the bed was not made. Our dishes were still on the bench so I cleaned it all up myself. Looked through your listing”

“Beautiful house in a beautiful rural setting, so peaceful, we were sorry it was only one night. Outdoor shower is a must. Sally and Simon were superb hosts, super helpful and friendly. Sally's homemade treat was very much appreciated and we had a lovely walk around the farm, meeting the lovely dogs. Would highly recommend staying at this piece of paradise.”

“Philip is an amazing caring host eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The cabin was delightful. Cosy and warm when the weather turned. Overall a relaxing enjoyable stay. Bath and hammock were a bonus ”

“The hotel is really nice and comfortable”

“Perfect place to unwind and have a relaxing time by the beach 🏖️”
