The room was very clean. The view was nice.

I fell going down the stairs because the hand rail oddly ends before the steps do. I have sent pictures and explanation to management days ago (day we left) and have not recieved a responce. Everything was average. The beach was definitely not the focal point. The employes were hit or miss. Extremely rude bartender 2 days! Pretty sure she was let go but still it was obvious. Place could be better with a more appealing beach presence and lounger chairs. There were several rusted. Room was decent. There was a peice nissing from our closet door. (We didnt ask for it to be fixed) The latch on the patio door was rusted and fell off several times (we secured it back, again without reporting). And there wer these little bugs around the sink and counter above the mini fridge. I mentioned that casually to one of the managers but didnt follow up. We just didt use that area. I asked for a first floor due to my disability and there were none available but they di show mw where the service elevatoe was. I'd rather just carefully use the stairs with haidrails. Spacious and clean, the basic oceanfront room offers a ringside seat to the lapping waves and warm breezes. The room is big with economy-level outfitting and is perfect for use as a jumping off point to explore the rest of St. Croix using a rental car. Renting a car is a MUST because the label "all-inclusive resort" is an underwhelming reality. Plan on eating out at local eateries as resort has a single breakfast buffet, a single poolside bar/grill, and a single evening dining option. Sunbathing on the beach, swimming in the single pool, kayaking and snorkeling are the extent of resort amenities. Using this as a beachfront hotel room with some "bonus perks" is better than expecting an all inclusive resort. Stay here. Rent a car. Make your own adventures. Don't rely on Divi Carina Bay Boutique to serve up your adventures.

Clean room, very attentive staff and great restaurant on property. Sleep to rhythmic waves and wake to a view of turquoise waters, sandy beaches, and green mountains. Simply beautiful!

The Tamarind Reef Resort has the potential to be great. The views are incredible, the pool is huge and well taken care of and the restaurant has decent food. They have great bartenders and servers that work at the Deep End bar and restaurant. The rooms could use a serious deep clean and the utensils, pans, cooking supplies need a major upgrade. The coffee pot leaks all over, the one pan really needs to be tossed. The resort offers laundry service on their website but that's not the case. There was stains on the sheets. The off white plastic trashcan is so dirty. There is a rusted out safe in the room that doesn't work. It truly is a bunch of little things that need some attention. It could be a really nice resort but there is obviously some neglect that should be taken care of.
