“Terrific time in Kemptville, NS at this accommodation - Moose Cabin - Golden Forest Lodge. I recently had a three day vacation there with my 14 year old Son and his Father. We had a great experience from the moment we arrived. We were greeted upon arrival, the owner/host went out of his way to accommodate us and we were treated very kindly throughout the entire stay. “We cannot say enough good things about this property. The house was beautifully renovated and extremely clean. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. The living room had recliners for all, a big hit with our family! There were real plants and flowers both inside and out which I personally really appreciated. “We were so happy at the camper, it had every convenience and was well stocked. It was a perfect spot to relax at the end of the day (in the recliner chairs (inside and outside) or the hot tub!). The location is beautiful and incredibly peaceful, and very central to all the activities we took part in. The hosts were extremely nice and responsive to questions, and we would love to come back. “This is an amazing property! It’s very clean and everything we needed was there. The lake was so peaceful, and beautiful. The cottage is located in the woods which made it so private. The family loved swimming, kayaking, and fishing all week. We really didn’t need to do anything more than stay at the cottage.
