Hi Matthew, thanks for the candor. The motel itself is 30 years old and we are working over breaks to update and replace as we go. Sometimes the stages of those updates aren't as quick as the person that ends up staying in-between. So we certainly apologize for being put in a completely unfinished room. Regarding the painting, this year instead of laying off staff due to the slow season, we kept our housekeepers gainfully employed by doing painting. Understandable they are not professional painters, but i do believe they've done excellent within the capacity of taking on the challenge of doing something they've never done before while being able to support their families. We will certainly speak to the breakfast person at the hotel in regards the presentation, certainly depending on what time you made it up there would determine the quantity of what was available and we certainly appreciate when a person lets us know if they would like something. There have been alot of changes this year and updating as we can go, but we understand the spaces offered by a 30 year old motel aren't everyones cup of tea, even with what we can do property level. I'm thinking your a hotel kind of guy, maybe next time we get you booked in up there. Hope to see you again soon.

Hi Sehwan, Thanks for the review, we understand sometimes flying bugs can be annoying and as mentioned before, keeping your door closed would assist in reducing the ones entering your room :( Unfortunately, as a motel with all of our doors accessing the parking lot, we can't control nature to the degree sometimes we wish we could. I do know that if you stay in a hotel property with interior corridors you would have less of an issue with these kinds of pests. We hope to see you again, maybe on our hotel side next time :).

Hey Rapheal. Yes sir that lighting was problematic for us. They're on timers and as the day gets shorter our timers were still set for summer dusk. They are fixed now :) But we appreciate all the feed back on expedia even though we could certainly help you in the office for any issues you might encounter. Come on down, maybe hug it out with irene! :) (lol)

Hey Ali, there must have been some miscommunication. Breakfast is every day including holidays :) Weekdays 5am to 9 am. And weekends until 10. Sometimes there is alot that is told when you check in too, we get that some things can get lost in the shuffle. But be sure to ask us whenever you have questions, anytime... 24hrs a day. The Motel side, we just recently renovated our lobby to include a community kitchen. This is available to all guests who wish to cook using a stove/oven etc. its a complimentary perk and of course just ask everyone clean up after themselves :) We appreciate the kind words for our housekeepers and we will be sure to let them know.
