My partner recently stayed here for work. He said the apartment was spacious, clean and very close to the station, which he required. He bought food essentials at the supermarket close by. He loved the apartment and would stay here again. Contact with Frederik for the check-in details and entrance information was seamless.

Location is ok if you want to be near the train station and tivoli. Brian at check-in was great. Tiny bathroom and sink so small it’s hard to use. Hasn’t been changed in 2 years so doesn’t seem like they take on the repeated feedback. Hot weather meant air con didn’t work at all and staff said to open window instead, but loud music from the bar opposite until late each evening made it very difficult, plus with the sun not setting til late you need windows/blinds closed to sleep. Given a fan after the second complaint but it broke after 30mins. When we arrived there was a large stain in the middle of the bed sheets which was impossible to miss…they changed it after brought to their attention. For 4* hotel expect better. Pillows not comfortable. Housekeeping is only done if requested by leaving sign on your door before 9am, and yet one day during our stay housekeeping randomly entered when it wasn’t requested so all our belongings were left out after not expecting anyone to enter. Second time staying and next time would choose an alternative with bigger rooms and different location.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Mayfair. The location in Vesterbro is fantastic- super close to the Central station, Tivoli and the rest of central Copenhagen. The staff are helpful. The hotel has some great features- the "back yard" outdoor area is lovely. The bar, whilst providing limited options is ideal for a break and a rest. The gym has just enough equipment for a quick workout/warm-up. The room was comfortable and clean. We did find the bathroom a little small, with the sink/tap difficult to use without getting the floor wet, the shower doors also had a large gap making it difficult not to get the floor even more wet! It would also have been useful to have some sort of desk/flat surface etc. in the room. The above, is minor, we'd come back again to explore even more of Copenhagen. Tak!
