“Lage ist super, Zimmer sind schlicht aber okay, wobei nicht alle Steckdosen funktionierten. Leider gab es keine Wasserkocher für das Zimmer, was nett gewesen wäre. Sehr enttäuschend war leider das Personal am Abreisetag. Wollte am Tag des Check-out mein Gepäck noch bis zum Mittag im Hotel deponieren, was meiner Erfahrung nach in wirklich jedem Hotel auf dieser Welt möglich ist. Mir wurde recht unfreundlich erklärt, dass das nicht geht. Gastfreundlichkeit und Höflichkeit Fehlanzeige.”

“Reichlich Frühstück in gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Das Zimmer war für dieses rustikale Ambiente sehr gut eingerichtet, überrascht war ich von einer kleine Küche (je nach Zimmer) Der Innenhof ist ein sehr schöner Stil der mittelalterlichen Baukunst, auch sehr gemütlich. ”

“This is a beautiful old hotel property. It has great bones and the rooms have been updated and modernized nicely. That said, there are some very quirky aspects to the property. Firstly, there is no reception - just an automated machine that provides a key card. This means that there is no one to ask about parking, amenities etc. The second thing is that no one speaks English at all. The cleaning staff was very sweet but could not speak a word. We had to use Google Translate for all……

“Nice place and very close to train stop Bad Sulza. Close to city centre 1km walk. Room was nice and clean, no AC, no loundry service to the customers. Bike rental locate city tourist office, not on site. Free parking on site.😎 Very nice, kind and helpfull staff.”

“The property sends the checkin info via a link to Expedia message box. However Expedia app doesn’t allow links apparently so you can not follow the link to the checkin site. Fortunately I have my laptop so could login to the Expedia website and follow the link. If I didn’t have the laptop it would have been very hard to do the checkin. There is nobody at the property to help, no reception or front desk or anybody. It is all based on the code that is supposed to be sent you after finishing a……
