Our entire stay was extremely disappointing and nowhere near worth the almost £1,000 we paid.
On our first day, someone entered our room while we were out. Staff and the manager refused to investigate, leaving me feeling unsafe. The room was also not cleaned.
The toilet was hanging off the wall and leaking. We reported this on our first morning, but 10 hours later it still had not been fixed, forcing us to move rooms.
In the second room, the exit sign above the door fell off the wall and hit my partner on the head. The air conditioning also switched off whenever we left the room. Staff claimed this was for economic reasons, although it had not happened in our first room.
Staff were unhelpful throughout and appeared to laugh at our complaints rather than take them seriously. A requested hairdryer took two days to arrive.
When I spoke to the manager, he made promises that were not kept. He assured me the room would be cleaned early the next morning by the cleaning manager, yet we returned at almost 4pm to find it still had not been cleaned.
The lack of security, cleanliness, basic maintenance and customer service was shocking. We spent our stay chasing staff to resolve issue after issue, with little care or accountability shown. For the price we paid, this experience was completely unacceptable. I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.
