The Renaissance Hotel is within walking distance of many tourist attractions. Upon our arrival to the hotel we were greeted with a warm and welcoming staff. We arrived earlier than the normal check in time, so the hotel stored our luggage as we ventured out to explore Barcelona. Within an hour we were notified that our room was ready. The room, although small, offered everything needed to enjoy a pleasant stay. The rooftop bar offered beautiful views of Barcelona including the Basílica de la Sagrada Família.

We spent a week and were in awe of this location, hotel and amenities. I’d return in a heartbeat. Great access to trails, shopping, cafes and exploring. The breakfast was amazing! A very peaceful and upscale stay.

I was on a very busy business travel and really wanted to use the bar and restaurant but it was closed on one of the days for an exclusive business event. It was a busy evening due to a soccer match and none of the nearby restaurants and bars had decent seating or enough food. Treadmill was mis calibrated - the speed was off by more than 20%. Yes I checked the mph / kmph units. Food was excellent. Not enough power ports in the room near the bed.

"property was nice and staff were great. The rooftop pool looks nice for a picture but the whole rooftop sitting area is the size of a bedroom and people are crammed up there like sardines. not relaxing or enjoyable."
