First time staying at the westgate. There are a lot of issues with this hotel. First of which is the check in process. Took entirely too long and was unaware of the $100 deposit on top of the $150 resort fee. Gentleman at the front seemed nice enough so no issues there.
Second, the room was disgusting, carpet wasn’t clean, the restroom was musty and the room was awkwardly warm? Like the AC was turned off so the room was sweating? It was the weirdest thing. It seemed like the ac was turned off right before we got there so the heat coming in from the window made the whole room feel wet. Also housekeeping did not come by the room a single time. The only positive was since we were in Vegas for a convention, we were almost never in the room. I think we were in there a total of 12 hours over 3 days.
Casino was a casino, the tables were very affordable and fun. But PLEASE for the love of god, do not expect to get more than one drink an hour. The waitresses are SOOOOOO slow and you are not able to get more than one drink to account for the slow waitress. But from a purely gambling standpoint, the casino itself allows for multiple playstyles.
Overall, if I had a choice, I wouldn’t stay here again. Only reason I know I’ll be back, is because I’m going back next year and this hotel is the closest and most affordable. Hopefully the hotel gets a facelift by then.

Everything was amazing- The accommodations, the property decor, the staff like Adrian and Chef Luis were very personable and welcoming. Our room was upgraded from partial ocean view to full as we were celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary, so that was a nice touch. We would definitely book again.

Awe, just what we needed
"We had a great stay. We attended with our daughter and 2 young grand sons. They loved the cabin! They were excited about the loft, the water fun: fishing and kayaking and exploring the yard and surroundings. The solitude, deer, birds, eagle and hawks were pretty amazing. They were pretty disappointed ..."

"A few options for bfast(ran out very early), pillows were to flat for us, shower and bath water ran at sametime(tried everything). Had to sshut off water so tub would not over flow. Neighbors were exstremely loud no sleep. Good price,bed was comfy and was convenient for us."
