El patio está equipado con una piscina de gunita y bañera de hidromasaje \* además de caballos y vacas que pastan en el pasto. Hay cuatro niveles de espacio habitable: el piso principal, el segundo piso, el sótano terminado y una hermosa escalera abierta que conduce al gran ático que puede dormir más. Nuestra casa cuenta con 5 habitaciones, 3\. 5 baños, cocina grande con estufa vikinga de 48 pulgadas y plancha, área de comedor, sala grande con chimenea de piedra preciosa, salón con piano y 5 porches. El primer piso y el sótano tienen techos de 10 'y el segundo piso tiene techos de 9'. Nos mudamos al hermoso valle de Shenandoah y construimos esta casa para criar a nuestros hijos. Lo diseñamos para que toda nuestra familia y amigos pudieran visitarnos en cualquier momento y quedarse con nosotros. Es un lugar tan tranquilo y privado para disfrutar del hermoso paisaje y pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos. Las espaciosas salas de estar le brindan espacio para reunirse o encontrar una habitación tranquila para leer un libro y relajarse. El aire libre cobra vida aquí mientras caminamos por el camino rural detrás de nuestra casa a lo largo del río Shenandoah o el camino rural frente a nuestra casa viendo las montañas y los pastos. Puede relajarse en la piscina y el jacuzzi o sentarse en uno de nuestros 5 porches / terrazas. Donde quiera que te sientes o mires hay una gran cantidad de belleza. Nos encanta ver la luna venir sobre las montañas o la puesta de sol detrás de ellas. Cada día es una imagen diferente para ver: el follaje en el otoño, las nubes contra las montañas, las estrellas como nunca las has visto antes, ¡pero lo mejor de todo es la risa y la alegría cuando se reúnen familiares y amigos! Cualquiera que visite o se quede no puede esperar para volver. Nos han dicho que es como un pedazo de cielo, un retiro, un lugar del que nunca querrás salir. ¡Está convenientemente ubicado para todo! Estamos a 1 milla de Massanutten Resort (parque acuático, golf, equitación, minigolf, esquí, tubing, snowboard, patinaje sobre hielo), a 10 minutos de la Universidad James Madison, a 10 minutos de Harrisonburg, a 15 minutos del Parque Nacional Shenandoah (excelente rutas de senderismo), a 40 minutos de Charlottesville (UVA), a 25 minutos de las cavernas de Luray y a 35 minutos de Stuanton (Teatro Black Friar). The house was clean and well appointed. However, the exhaust fan was not working for the stove/grill which limited our cooking options. Also we experienced issues with the hot tub not heating and the pool needing a proper cleaning. But through all this the property manager was easily accessible and quick to respond. We had a semi large group, 6 adults and 3 children ages 3 year old twins and a 9 year old. The home had plenty of space for us to be together without feeling crammed on top of each other. The children really enjoyed the outdoor space. Plenty of room to run around with their outdoor games.Overall it was a nice experience, would highly recommend. ##### De H. Se hospedó 7 noches en mayo de 2025 ### 8/10 Bueno #### April F. 26 mar. 2025 Le gustó: Limpieza #### Amazing Property - Hot Tub Not Working Will start with the many pro's to this property: My boyfriend booked this lovely home to celebrate my birthday with a group of friends, there were 10 of us in total. The panoramic views of the mountains and surrounding farm(s) were amazing! The home itself is well built and the photos online do not do it justice as to how spacious the home actually is. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of dishes, drinkware, eating/cooking utensils, pots, pans, toaster, coffee machine, 2 ovens, large refrigerator with a second refrigerator in the basement. The rooms were all well-kept and clean and we as middle-agers definitely appreciated the firm mattresses!The cons: There were a couple of cosmetic things here and there (missing pieces to faucets, middle grill in the stove not working due to a missing knob, overgrown volleyball net area, older ping pong table with only 3/4 paddles, non-heated pool). The only major disappointment was learning that the hot tub was not working and a text request for a partial reimbursement for the booking to the owner and property manager was completely ignored. Overall, I would definitely recommend this VRBO to others, owner and property manager are very nice and home and property are GORGEOUS! Just be aware that you will pay full price regardless of whether or not the pool and hot tub are actually useable during your stay. ##### April F. We had enough space for everyone to spread out and be comfortable and enough space for us to all gather for meals and games. We enjoyed the mountain views and watching the horses. A winery was 6 minutes away…this was a spacious, lovely HOME. I felt invited in, I would come again. Disappointed to find the hot tub locked off when we got there, it could have been made clearer in the description that there's an off season. Host and property manager texted us multiple times throughout the stay, so not the most hands-off experience. Had to reach out to the host while we were en route because I hadn't received any check-in instructions, and when I heard back, she mentioned we should be bringing our own paper products. Had to call the property manager to come let us in when we arrived because the door malfunctioned. Despite this, the views and the house certainly made up for the quirks. ##### Haley S. It was beautiful, especially during the peak fall foliage. The house was clean and there were tons of sleeping options on all floors of the house. The view was beautiful and the pool and hot tub were also very nice! We loved that we could all fit at the table for meals and fit in the family room to play games and watch movies. We chose this location because of the privacy. The things we enjoyed were the pool, the sunrise over the mountain every morning, enough seating in the kitchen for all of us at mealtime and enough space around the land itself that if you wanted to spend some time alone there was space to do so. A couple of things I would mention to other guests is that there are no blinds in the bedrooms which led to the bright light of the close town or the moon and def the sunrise- you could never really sleep in. The beds in all the room are very firm and 90% of our family agreed too uncomfortable to get a good night sleep on. Since the listing says a 48in Viking stove with griddle, it stunk that it was broken and not useable.(2 of our guests were chefs). The listing says basketball hoop (we had 7 teenagers) and it stunk that it could not be adjusted to go up and down and the backboard was broken. The listing mentions and shows a sand volleyball court but it is all grass and is also the area they saddle the horses, so even if we wanted to play on grass there was so much horse poop in that area. The listing mentions 5 porches- which are amazing!..esp the porch on the upstairs bedroom where you can see the sunrise. Just wish on that porch and the other bedroom porch there was even 2 chairs so it could be used other than just standing. Overall, this is a great place and Debbie, the project manager was always responsive to our needs ##### Tina B. Well kept property except for one thing-the volley ball court. Website shows a great looking sand filled court but it's all overgrown with grass and weeds. We have a couple of volley ballers in our family who were a bit disappointed. However that was a minor annoyance when you consider everything else the house has to offer. One of the best equipped kitchens we've ever seen in our 19 years of family vacations. Horses and steers roam off property and those mountain views are really fabulous. We especially liked all of the family photos on the walls in various rooms. Obviously there are many great family memories associated with this property. So, as long as you're not into volleyball, you'll just love this place. A definite thumbs up ! ##### Bob M. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Sometimes the water pressure in the bathrooms gets low due to multiple people showering together at the same time in different bathrooms.
