“Extreme itchiness from the sheets on the bed - could hardly sleep due to it. VERY THIN WALLS and could hear everything in the next room. I asked to be switched to a different room but did not receive a timely response (there are no staff onsite - remote only). I asked for a partial refund and was denied. You are also fairly far from the center of Alesund. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE.”

“Aalesund City Apartment was a pleasant place for our family to finish our trip through Norway. The location was convenient, and the building was easy to find after arriving by Uber. We stayed in the fourth-floor terrace unit and appreciated being allowed to enter a little early, although we waited on the terrace while the cleaning staff finished preparing the apartment. This place is a lovely little gem and we had fun exploring the small island. We saw lovely rainbows, experienced a beautiful ocean sunset, and went on a great hike!
