Arrived at around 9:45pm and struggled to gain entry but eventually a grumpy member of staff answered the bell and immediately told me I was too late and check in closed at 8:30pm. He recanted eventually and rudely told me where to park in the overgrown unkempt car park next to an apparently abandoned car and close to two residents on plastic chairs apparently enjoying an evening spliff. Having despatched the large spider on the wall above the bed to the spider heaven above I settled down for the night resigned to the fact that my 6:30/am departure would preclude me from the 7:00

In die Jahre gekommen - Möbel und Teppiche sind alt und abgewohnt - freundlicher Gastgeber, gutes Frühstück und ein sehr kurzer Weg zur Fähre sind ein Plus - preislich jedoch zu teuer.

Das Hotel befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Außenhafen, so daß wir mit dem Gepäck direkt zum Schiff kamen. Das Zimmer war recht klein, hatte jedoch noch einen weiteren Raum, den man als Büroraum nutzen könnte. Unser Zimmer hatte ein Tageslicht-Bad und eine moderne Dusche. Für eine Nacht hat es gut gereicht. Nur die Schaumgummi-Kopfkissen mögen wir überhaupt nicht. Die sind viel zu weich und man findet keinen Halt. Die Matratzen sind für Jeden anders, dem einen zu weich, für den anderen gerade recht. Das Frühstück am anderen Morgen wurde uns am Tisch bereits eingedeckt. Alles was wir uns wünschten, wurde gebracht. Es war schmackhaft, lecker und für Jeden was dabei. Ein Büffet gab es leider nicht. Unser Auto konnten wir dort für unseren Urlaub auf der Insel gegen eine Gebühr von 2,50 Euro pro Tag im Freien stehen lassen. Wir waren zufrieden.
