for fishermen to reach their boats, which can be used as a vantage point by photographers! Parking can be a challenge though.... #perspective

"We had an excellent stay. The company were very communicative, helpful and on hand for any queries i had. One day we had a leaking boiler and within hours it was sorted. A special Thank you to Hannah who was helpful, professional and nothing was ever too much. "The apartment was fantastic. Like a hotel with stunning view. The kitchen was well stocked, and we loved the welcome basket which is much appreciated after a day of travelling. Beds very comfortable. We stayed in this block a couple of years ago and I would never tire of the sea view."

"I arrived at 8pm to find out there was a problem with my room's door lock and the door wouldn't close. I was ready to start trawling hotels for a last minute room but the lovely lady who acts as agent for the owner, pointed out to the owner that the main house, which sits in the same plot, was available for a couple of days, and so they gave me a large family house for a couple of days. I stay in Waterlooville regularly for business and will definitely stay again. "

"Considering the price, we had high hopes for our stay at this house, but unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. Upon arrival, we found the property was not very clean. There was urine left in the upstairs toilet, the downstairs bathroom was dusty with hair around the toilet, and the bath mat had been folded up while still wet. "We stayed at the Ropemaker for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its restaurant. We had a lovely king-size bed that was very comfortable. The room had a portable air conditioning unit that kept it very cool, which we appreciated. However, it is noisy at night. The outdoor bar area is super cute and has little cabanas that seat about 4 guests. We'll definitely stay here again."

"Spacious room with tv and tea/coffee facilities. Plentiful supply of tea etc. Bathroom also of a good size but shower was a bit lacklustre. Ideally placed for visiting the Museum of the Royal Navy which includes HMS Victory and The Mary Rose. Also near the Gunwharf Quays area with shops, restaurants and the Spinaker Tower. "

"This was only a quick overnight stay, but the beds were fantastic - so comfortable! Room was clean, shower room was great and everything was convenient. Breakfast was good and check out was a breeze. Will definitely stay here again when next in the area."

"We had a lovely lunch at the bar when we arrived. The lovely young man checked us in to the hotel and showed us to the family room. This was really nice as there were two rooms. One with a double bed and the other two singles. The bathroom was very spacious. So clean. Lots of towels. Also there was a kettle in each room. With plenty of items. Bottles of water in each room. Our stay was very comfortable. We were given keys for the front door as we were out late."
