Room, amenities, and location were great. I paid extra for late check out and twice had staff members show up to my room after 11am (one staff member came into my room while I was still here). I don’t think communication was very clear.

The location was perfect. Right above the famous Anitas Gelatos and next to the Governors Mansion. Definitely dont rent if you cannot climb stairs, but my family didnt mind it too much considering this was OLD San Juan. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because even though we had 2 patios, we didnt have much of a view in either one and the patios were pretty much useless unless you want to eat there and stare at a wall. Didnt have direct sun on the patios either so we couldnt even sit outside to sun bathe. If you want a balcony or patio with a view do not get the PH suite.
