On the downside the appartment was too small to host 9 persons, five people had to sleep in the Livingroom and one of the sofabeds was too bad to sleep in. There was no coffeebrewer or likewise, no toaster and no wineglasses. Many of the outsiders lights on the premises were our of order so it got really dark. The pool had very limited opening hours. 10-19."

"Il Borgo Appartments is an OK place to stay in Finale Ligure. You need a car to get down to the city and the beach. The appartments are spacious and partly newly refurbished. The outdoor areas is not so clean and nice as the interior of the appartments. Pool area is nice. Cleaning OK. "The property is located at the end of a walking or biking track so very quickly you can be in the countryside. The property was finished to a high standard with nice extras such as cushions on the outdoor furniture. The beds were very comfortable and shower worked well. The air-conditioning was very much appreciated. The outdoor space was peaceful and pretty and we often ate our breakfast outside. We didn't use the bus but there is a regular shuttle that can take you down the steep hill into town. Isabella was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and activities. We would very much recommend this accommodation. "
"Room was not as described online, 2 single beds instead of a double (states online that the room sleeps 3, but nowhere for a 3rd person to sleep - lucky there was only 2 of us), smell of stale smoke as soon as you enter the room, no toilet roll provided, no towels provided, unclean room and balcony and incredibly run down, states online that parking is 5 euro per night and they expect 10 euro per night when you arrive. We are not fussy people and often sleep in hostels but this is not a 3 star ‘hotel’ - it should be a 1 star! "

"The property is well appointed just a short distance away from the bike uplift. It's perfect for couples/groups who aren't after the hustle and bustle and would rather keep to themselves. The cockerel at 4am each day was hard work as a light sleeper being the nearest room to them. No oven or TV just meant we had to be strategic about our shopping. Property was clean and communication with the owner was excellent."

"Great stay (family of 4). Very nice hotel, nice location, but most importantly nice staff that helped with a lot of things:
- recommended and booked all the restaurants for us. (recommendations were actually very good)
- sorted out reservation with the beach. (Yes, for those new to Italy - this is a thing :) and if you do not sort it out in advance you might not be able to get a good location)
Honestly, they were really really good.
I wish our room was a bit more spacious and interesting for the money we have paid, but I can live with that given how we were looked after.
P.S. Next time I'd book a suite for family the of 4 but unfortunately all of them were booked for the current trip. "

"My family of 5 (all adults) stayed here for 5 days in July. We loved the air conditioning and the location! This is a great venue, with a balcony overlooking the main square of finalborgo. The owner lives next door and is very nice, and so are the folks that manage the apartment.
This apartment is best for parties who don't want to cook elaborate meals, as there is essentially one hot plate. This worked well for us. Also, the layout is one hallway with kitchen and 2 bathrooms on one end. The double twin beds and sofa are in one room with the balcony. The third room with only the twin bed requires you to walk through the room with the queen bed.
The neighborhood is great. Plenty of great hikes right out your door. All the restaurants, coffee and shops right out your door in finalborgo.
We would definitely stay again, and highly recommend. :)"
