My husband and I stayed at The Palms Resort and Beach for our 6 year anniversary in July 2026. Prior to my stay, I only looked at reviews on Expedia and they seemed mostly positive. The price was right and the views looked great online. The first thing we saw once we entered the room were ROACHES scattering. In all different sizes. We aren’t picky people by any means but I draw the line at a roach infestation. I cried the first night due to my childhood trauma with cockroaches. When we complained, we were told by Starr that there was someone who brought the roaches on their luggage that week, and that they had received some complaints and they had sprayed the rooms before check-in. I thought this sounded fishy and looked up reviews for this place with the code word “roaches” to see how far back the complaints go. There are roach complaints on Expedia from 2024 and on trip advisor from 2021… you mean to tell me this place has been infested with roaches for 5 years and nothing has been done!?!? Besides the roaches, the bathtub was gross-rusty & dirty, the AC would fail and turn off consistently, the views were amazing, the food at the restaurant was very good, the staff was helpful, and the beach was extremely rocky. We enjoyed our trip when we weren’t in the room. I really urge The Palms Resort and Beach to finally fumigate the place with poison so roaches aren’t a problem for someone else in the future. I left a more detailed review on google due to character limits.

The carina bay hotel experience was amazing the staff was amazing , kind and helpful and made my birthday experience wonderful.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Waves. The staff was truly helpful and amazing. The room was BEYOND perfect. AMA was amazing, I went twice! I cannot wait to go back
