"Warmly greeted by hostess, Fatima, we were taken through the lovely restored home and brought to our spacious and comfortable room. I would add a suspended soap dish holder in the state of the art shower and don't forget to bring your own travel hairdryer. Breakfasts were served in fine Portuguese porcelain with generous amount of fresh juice and excellent coffee. The staff is more than willing to accomodate with eggs any style. It was natural for Fatima and Anna to have a smiling disposition...

"Absolutely loved staying here. Everyone we encountered was very nice and helpful. It is the perfect spot if you want to spend some time in Lisbon but don’t want to be around the hectic night life. The resort is super clean and parking is everywhere. The only thing is the smell of the air freshener they use on the hallways. It is very strong and really doesn’t smell good. "

"Very friendly and helpful staff. It feels like a home away from home. The house is clean, and very close to the train and several bus routes. Free continental breakfast daily. The beach and restaurants are in walking distance. There is a laundromat within walking distance for longer stays to wash/dry your clothes."

"Fernando, the host, was helpful in navigating the surroundings and provided good advice for a local outing. On the other hand, he demanded a cash payment which came to me as a surprise and put me under considerable duress navigating ATM withdrawal limits etc. In the end he accepted a combination of Euros and dollars, which completely depleted me of any cash resources. None of the information from Hotels.com or from himself indicated that a cash payment was required. I only stayed for one night...

"Attending a wedding at a nearby estate. Chosen for location. But hotel modern, clean and spacious. Very comfortable for American guests. Breakfast was good and nice assortment of hot and cold. Served until 10 I believe. I was late first day and she was kind enough to let me grab some things even as she was trying to clean up. That is great service! I ate dinner there too and my steak sandwich was lovely! "

"Upon arrival we rang for access, but the bell had not sounded inside and we had to wait until other guests helped us to enter the building. From then on everything was perfect. We found free parking for our car and it was a v ery convenient 25 minute walk into central Cascais. "

"Nice property in a good area. They didn’t seem to have the air conditioning on but we were able to keep our door open to the balcony. 30 minute walk to Cascais along the boardwalk and great selection of outdoor restaurants. "
