I wanted to like this hotel...

Posted Jul 16, 2017
Great location for U of O student orientation. Great proximity to downtown and within walking distance of a great number of restaurants and U of O. Pleasant checkin and a decent continental breakfast. Our room was on the second floor, and a bit more removed from street and train noise, which can be fairly loud. The room when we walked in was clean and spacious, with a nice layout. But....dripping sink, slow leak in toilet, maid who simply didn't bother to show up prior to our final night (another patron reported the same), then found a bug in the bathroom and another in the sleeping area on our final night. And, the plugs: one for a lamp didn't work at all, so no lamp. We found one plug in the sleeping area that worked for charging, as long as we didn't mind unplugging the clock radio. Each night, we had to charge phones in the one outlet that worked, by the bathroom sinks. Again, I really wanted to like this place, because the price was fair, room appeared nice, and the location was terrific for that price. But I don't know that I'd stay again when visiting my student. Too many negatives.

Repeat stay at Campus Inn

Posted Jul 11, 2017
Second stay at this property. Excellent location in downtown...go left, shopping, services, train, bus...plus Saturday Market with artists, food and music on...well, Saturdays;). Go right and head towards University and hospital. Whole Foods across street. Beds are comfortable, air conditioner very efficient if a little loud. Coffee maker and fridge. My room had a microwave but I don't think all of them do. Hot tub has strong jets and temp perfect for me. Second storey has a nice patio area with tables chairs shade umbrellas and fountain. A couple of cautions: like a lot of places they stock a combined shampoo no separate conditioner, bring your own if that matters. Additionally, breakfast is about as basic as it gets but most people can find something they can eat. Bagels, cream cheese and jam, a few kinds of muffins, hard boiled eggs, instant oatmeal all sweetened, bananas, yogurt, waffle maker, coffee, tea, juice. Whole Foods across the street has a hot breakfast bar with eggs, sausage, potatoes if you prefer. Staff all efficient, all polite. Not a fancy place but comfortable and convenient. I'll be back again.

Close to university, but off main drag.

Posted May 29, 2017
Hotel was walking distance to university events, lots of restaurants and Whole Foods is across the street. Shuttle from Portland Airport picks up and delivers 2 blocks away. Plenty of hotels in neighborhood, Campus Inn is not on main drag, so it's quieter setting. Good value.

Just good enough

Posted May 21, 2017 on Hotels
This may be the best of the bunch of the downtown/campus motels in Eugene. Good enough for an all-work, no-time-in-the-room visit. Aging building, terrible plumbing. Toilet barely flushed, no pressure in shower, barely hot water, room smelled. Breakfast is minimal. Bed was fine, housekeeping kept things just clean enough. It is a decent choice when every place in Eugene is jacking up prices on event weekends.

You get what you pay for

The walls must be paper thin or the guest are super rude. Walking around above me all night, bumping & banging next door. I must say the waffle's make up for it though

Excellent location

Excellent location, next to the University and EGI. Whole Foods and shopping close by. Close to the river and walking, biking trails. Saw a blue heron. Good hot breakfast.
