From experience, Amsterdam is an expensive city, and I understand how difficult it can be to find a good budget-friendly hotel. Hotel Pagi is very centrally located, close to the train station and within walking distance of most of the places you are likely to visit during your stay. It is situated on a busy street, so noise may affect light sleepers. However, the bed was extremely comfortable, and we slept well. The rest of the property is very basic—and I do mean basic. There are no frills, limited storage space for clothes, and the bathroom is adequate at best. That said, considering the price, we did not expect luxury. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the staff. The reception team were superb—friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The housekeeping lady was also incredibly lovely and added a personal touch to the experience. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay in a prime location and do not mind simple facilities, Hotel Pagi is worth considering.
