The restaurant food was very basic and of poor quality and expensive. The room heating was set at 33 degrees Celsius. We managed to set it to cool things but it kept automatically returning to the high temperature. No windows in hotel room, very claustrophobic. The main hotel atrium was enormous and clinical. Not an inviting space to stop and have a drink.

Receptionist brilliant ! We got lost sat nav took us down a dirt track , very helpful! Food awful, fish had been cooked twice tough, ribs hadn’t been cooked properly so mainly fat. Rooms spotless and very reasonably pruced

Wow wow wow, I have so much to say about this fantastic hotel but I’ll keep it short. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and warm. The room was stunning, giant comfy beds, sparking clean through out. The facilities were amazing! A beautiful large pool, a hot tub with the most beautiful view! Along with another wet spa room with a hydro pool, sauna and steam room. Stunning stunning stunning. 2 restaurants on site with a bar open until 11pm. I can not wait to go back! Amazing!!!!

Everything about our our stay was first class from booking on line to our departure. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel except for the restaurant. It was a very limited menu and two of the items on the menu were not available. Would not recommend the restaurant.

General cleanliness has gone downhill in the past few weeks. Shampoo/shower gel was empty. Staff super friendly as always, just feels like it's not what as good as it used to be.

Avoid the restaurant!
Well where to begin, we booked a double deluxe room which showed a balcony over looking the golf course, but we got a suite over looking the car park! The room was very tired, bathroom in desperate need of modernisation & the mattress was very uncomfortable. We had a table booked in the restaurant, waited an hour for our meal, which was awful & certainly not worth the money we paid. We probably would have got a better frozen Tesco ready meal! The staff were not attentive, we had to ask for another drink & the bill as they were nowhere to be seen. No one asked how our meal was or if everything was ok at any point. Multiple people were also complaining about the food. Wish we had checked online reviews beforehand! We had a pleasant few hours in the pool & spa, which was enjoyable, although the floor could have been cleaner as it was busy, but that’s just one of those things I guess. I don’t feel we will be returning to this hotel sadly.

The Swiss Lodge was perfect for our stay. A country getaway was what we were looking forward to and got exactly this. The rooms were comfortable and had individual temperature controls. The kitchen and living room was spacious and ideal for our group. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. I will definitely visit here again
