a warmer welcome—and, above all, punctuality (avoiding a 30-minute delay)—would have been appreciated.

Room was excellent, large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Beds were large with nice quality bedding. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and freshly cooked. Staff were helpful.
Our room was above the in house Georgian restaurant, we didn't try it but it looked very popular. There was live entertainment which went on late, maybe 12am, we could hear it in our room which was directly above but it didn't stop us from going to sleep. The Vitosha area had a nice atmosphere and lovely view from our room of the mountain. We hope to return again and will book this hotel. Perhaps ask for a room that is not over the restaurant.

We didn't get internet in the room and talk to the receptionist . But never was looked at. The air-conditioning was set by the hotel but it was hot . Parking you pay extra €15a day . The restaurant was good . Turkish food . The staff was friendly.

The only issue was that each time entering the premises, a waft of cigarette smoke came from the adjacent restsurant. I guess it's a Bulgarian norm to allow smoking in Restaurants. As a former smoker it was off putting. However, not enough to take from my enjoyment of Sofia.

"Rooms were clean. Coffee in the room is not complementary. There is a complementary bottle of water, but only the first day. No iron nor iron board in the room, you have to ask for it and it has to be returned after. No hair conditioner. The pool was great, 25 m and very clean. The stuff in the hotel ..."
