Hotel Quartier Latin

Marche-en-Famenne

10/10 Excellent

I had no expectations for this hotel, or the town, and was stunned by both of them. The hotel was beautiful. Clean, big rooms (we had a 1-bedroom suite), great location, superb breakfast and an unusually helpful staff (including a very early check-in). The location is ideal. Right in the heart of one of the most charming little towns you'll ever visit. Great restaurants and cafes within a short walk, beautiful countryside. I would go back in a minute (if it weren't 4000 miles from my home).

Barry

A reception area with a modern design, featuring a wooden panel wall, a large framed historical photograph, and a vase with flowers on the counter.

Hotel La Passerelle

Durbuy

10/10 Excellent

This was a nice little hotel outside city limits. It is set in the countryside and is very picturesque. The attached restaurant served delicious food at a very reasonable price. There was a nice little playground for the kids to burn off energy before bed. This is not walkable to Durbuy but a quick 5 minute drive. The staff was very welcoming and made sure that our waiter spoke English which made ordering so much less tricky. A very peaceful relaxing stay.

Walter

A historic stone building with a central tower, a courtyard with cobblestone flooring, and a small fountain.
