Positives: (i) Quite comfortable, and very clean rooms. (ii) Quiet, walking distance to the center of Zaros. (iii) the property had oudoor seating in a rather pleasant setting. (iv) Responsive and pleasant host. Accessible at all hours. Negatives: (i) I waited for hours in front of the main entrance for someone to let me in. Moreover, the telephone number provided by Expedia to contact the host is incorrect. Only when I went nextdoor did I find a working contact number for the host pasted on the window. (ii) toliet flush doesn't work. You'd need to fill the septic tank manually. (iii) the AC Remote batteries requires changing.

Grosse déception

À notre arrivée, avant d'entrer dans la chambre, nous avons été agréablement surpris par le jardin et la terrasse ombragée à l'arrière de la maison. Par contre, la chambre était exiguëe avec le lit contre un mur et pas de lampe de chevet. La lunette des wc n'était plus fixée. La nuit a été cauchemardesque : le lit grinçait à chaque mouvement, le matelas à ressorts était très inconfortable et les oreillers horribles. Bref, une nuit blanche bien que l'hébergement était très au calme

Malgrès une arrivée tardif nous avons ete bien accueilli. Les lits sont confortables et la chambre propre. Le petit dejeuner est copieux typiquement grecque.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo Hotel per 5 notti, dopo aver viaggiato 20 giorni nell'isola ed in attesa di viaggiare ancora altro 20 giorni dopo questo soggiorno. Il pese non e' nulla di che ma le persone sono gentili e simpatiche, in particolare Vivi del ristorante Veggera. Anche Froso, la proprietaria dell'Hotel e' molto gentile e premurosa, attenta al dettaglio e presente. Ottima colazione

un havre de paix dans la montagne crétoise

Un merveilleux souvenir de cet hébergement dans la montagne. L'accueil de Frozo est chaleureux et son petit déjeuner crétois savoureux et abondant.Les chambres sont joliment décorées et très propres. Nous garderons un excellement souvenir de cette halte en Crète.

Nicely decorated and clean rooms. Very friendly and helpful owner. Very nice breakfast with Greek pastry, fruits, etc. It's a good place to stay for a hike to the Rouvas Canyon, Phaistos Palace and a trip to Komos or Matala Beach on the south coast. We had a good time and can also recommend the Vengera taverna. They have a different menu every day including wine for 12€ per person. It's definitely worth it!

Chambre moderne

Bon séjour dans cet établissement, chambre agréable, petit déjeuner copieux sur une petite terrasse bien agréable elle aussi. Il est cependant dommage de ne pas avoir pu s'endormir avant 3h du matin la deuxième nuit, du fait du bruit causé par la gérante et ses amis invités discutant bruyamment sur la terrasse juste à côté de la fenêtre ouverte de notre chambre (pas de climatisation nous obligeant à la laisser ouverte).

Det ægte kreta

Skønt område hvis man vil lidt væk fra turiststederne, her er det hverdagslivet i en lille by på kreta man får lov at opleve. Det var super hyggelig. Vil dog anbefale at leje en bil da man ellers bliver noget isoleret.

wunderschöne Zimmer + tolle Atmosphäre

Einfache aber supergemütliche Unterkunft; gesamtes Ambiente vermittelt unheimlichen Charme (Bilder sind authentisch) - willkommener Kontrast zu größeren Hotels mit Massentourismus. Die Betreiberin ist überaus nett und zaubert ein wunderbares, selbstgemachtes Frühstück. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Gebirgswanderungen in der Umgebung oder Ausflüge an die Südküste. Sehr zu empfehlen.

hübsche, kleine Unterkunft

Unser Zimmer Nr. 1 war schön und sauber. Das Frühstück wurde jeden Tag frisch zubereitet und war sehr lecker. Die in dem kleinen Bergdorf gelegene Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen. Auf unserer Rundreise über die Insel haben wir die 3 Tage im Hariklia Rent Rooms sehr genossen.

“What a fabulous place!”

The Hariklia rooms are absolutely beautiful and tastefully decorated, clean with news private bathrooms in the rooms, very comfortable too. The hostess Froso is a wonderful girl, who is very friendly and generous, and makes staying there a treat and a pleasure. The garden was so beautiful and romantic! .Breakfast was wonderful!!! I highly recommend this place.

Very Friendly Host, Very Charming Rooms

Harikleia Rent Rooms are exactly like the pictures- charming, cosy and very unique. We arrived late from Heraklion and Froso (who runs the rooms) welcomed us with refreshments and snacks (free of charge!). She was very friendly and we instantly felt at home. The room (private) and bathrooms (shared in our case) were very comfortable, clean, and in good condition. The rooms are right in Zaros (a very quaint little village), minutes away from local shops and convenience stores. Froso went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable- and she personally makes the breakfast , which it is nothing short of incredible (again the pictures are very accurate). We highly recommend Harikleia, and wish we could have stayed longer.
