Against the stunning backdrop of Pico de Fogo volcano the harsh , dramatic lava fields surround this unique lodge. Our funco (roundhouse bungalow) was just perfect. No shortage of hot water and funco #9 has a good geothermal natural warmth . The breeze keeps you cool and it does cool Down at night. We enjoyed the meals we had and Marisa makes a great bartender. The stunning gardens add to the ambiance of the place! Don’t miss out on great Cape Verdean hospitality and a truly other wordly location !
