The humidity was very high. The temperature was in the high 80's. When we walked in the floor was wet, the counters were wet and the bedding was damp. We were exhausted and spent the night. My wife was showing distress in her breathing in the morning due to the mustiness of the room and the bedding. We decided we could not stay at Super 8 by Wyndham Kingsport any longer.
We checked out and shared our concerns with the front desk. They were very accommodating.
It was an unfortunate experience, but we appreciate the positive outcome.

Check in clerk forgot to return my ID. Hotel is undergoing updates. The new flooring installed in the room had a strong smell. No coffee maker in room or microwave. No continental breakfast available. Pool was covered and not usable. Maybe once the update and refreshing the property is complete will it be a strong contender.
