The staff was extremely helpful. They even took us for a tour around the property. Laura was very knowledgeable about the history and seasonal details about the hunting and lodging amenities. Property is very well maintained. Food and drinks were great. Would definitely consider returning.

Our stay here was not pleasant. I first called to get an early check in and they said if you arrive after 1:00 pm there would be no additional charge if there was a room available. When we arrived at 1:30, the desk said it was 2:30 with no additional charge, so contradictory when I called earlier in the morning.
The rooms had no external ventilation. After we showered the first time, everything stayed very humid and wet. Our towels could not dry, our swim suits could not dry, everything just remained damp.
Make sure you understand there is a $59/day parking fee. This was not clear in my booking from Expedia and the hotel fees were higher than what was committed on my Expedia booking. They would not agree to my price booked through Expedia.
The one positive, it was very close to everything on the Riverwalk.

"The hotel was nice and seemed clean but as soon as you enter there was a musty smell. The rooms also smelled musty. The worst part and the reason why we wanted to stayed there was the indoor pool and the hot tub. The water in the pool had a weird smell like still water there were a few bugs and leaves ..."
