This hotel is beautiful on the inside. Large and comfortable rooms with amazingly comfy beds that are reclining. Huge clean bathroom, tons of electric outlets in the room. The lobby and restaurant is also very stylish with plenty of space, yet gives a cozy atmosphere with lighting and a fireplace. The food at dinner was great, and there was a huge selection at breakfast. Something for everyone! They even have a games room for kids to play foozeball or Ping pong. We didn’t have time to check out the pool, but we will be back next year!

A smile and some kindness pays off

This is the kind of hotel where i’m willing to drive an extra 75 km in order to come back. Especially because of the personal at the reception. The hotel was under construction but that does not mean anything if you are welcomed with a genuine smile and so much friendly faces. Employee offered me a cup of coffee during check in, showed interest in the guests and showed maximum flexibility. 10-10. With every future visit to the Dala region I’m coming back here. Please share my complements with the front office staff, they are gold for your hotel.

You can’t predict who your neighbors will be

This hotel has a beautiful view from the upper floors, so beautiful you might want to lie in bed and just watch the clouds and trees (we spent time doing just that!). The Murphy bunks are a great idea, and more hotels should jump on that idea. We missed having an electric kettle/coffee maker in the room, but we can see space is limited. Our stay would be a full 5 stars, but they were housing participants in a middle school football / soccer tournament being held around Falun. It seemed no adults were helping the kids know about appropriate behavior when staying in a hotel. Really, this isn’t the fault of the hotel, so I should award them 5 stars simply for being so professional with these barely supervised young people. Excellent, superb breakfast. Many many stars for that. The staff were also superb.

Nyrenoverat och fint. Vi är återkommande gäster med ett par besök per år. Tyvärr blir detta sista året då alla lekmöjligheter för barnen tagits bort för att istället lämna plats åt obokade konferensrum. Tidigare år har barnen fått ett varm välkomnande med lek, kritor, barndrinkar, mm. Nu var det inte alls välkomnande för barn. Trist utveckling på ett hotell där det troligen är återkommande gäster av barnfamiljer.

Vi ankommer till hotellet på lördag 25/10 var på hela hotellet verkar vara mer en fritidsgård. Flera ungdomsförbund i orientering verkar på plats och det är stök, spring överallt samt skäp i korridorerna. Frukosten var förfärlig söndag morgon. Mat på bordet vid den varma buffén samt tecken på att alla smörknivar varit på golvet. Poolen visade sig inte vara tjänlig under söndagen pga tidigare dagarna. Bättring från söndag kväll. Första gången jag bor på Scandic efter att ni började ta extra betalt för frukosten. Ingen av personalen som prickade av personer vid entrén till frukosten.

Maten var god i restaurangen , fläskfilé och grillad lax med goda sallader till. Bra service. Badade i poolen som var jättefin efter renoveringen men vattnet var kallt! Frågade i receptionen hur många grader men hon visste inte. Det var varmare före renoveringen. Rummet var bra med skön säng att sova i.Priset för rummet ligger högre än andra jämförelsebara hotellrum.

Dårlig renhold på badet.

Dårlig renhold på fliser på badet. Tørt og dårlig brød til frokost. Varmt på rommet,kunne kunn opne vinduet på gløtt. Ingen aircondition. Det eneste som var positivt at sengen var god å ligge i . Mye biltrafikk støy rett utenfor hotellet gjennom hele natten. Hadde ikke valgt dette hotellet igjen. Styr unna !!!!!
