Great location for early morning or late arrival flights, good value for money and excellent service from the chef

The house was clean but the pool was dirty and some of the outside furniture were in really bad condition. No nice wine glasses and the towels did smell so bad, that we had to wash them before we could use them. There was no internet for 8 days. We did of course complain about it in the beginning but to my opinion, the caretaker of the property was not doing his job. He didn't speak english and we don't speak spanish so the communication was not easy, and thats not a positive thing

We booked a Grand Premium room in the Level and we were allocated room 5083. The room was fine but the view really wasn’t grand or premium. We could see a sliver of sea from a tiny balcony that had a cavern-like atmosphere. I expect it might see the dun for an hour or so each morning but we weren’t sticking around to find out. We’d asked for a marina view. We asked to move so the staff showed us 2083 (!) which had the same outlook, only 3 floors lower and not a Level room. We settled for a standard, Melia room on the 2nd floor, which did have a marina view, with the evening sun. With no offer of an alternative Level room, we effectively settled for a downgrade with no offer of an upgrade or compensation from the hotel. Indeed we were asked to sign a waiver. If you’re thinking of the Level then think carefully what you want from it. Not all of the rooms have the best view, breakfast is served in the Level lounge but it’s still a fairly average self serve buffet with an egg cook. Complimentary tapas is served a couple of times a day and you can help yourself to wine and beer which you’re not supposed to take to your own balcony… But the Level pool is nothing more than a glorified footbath and the sun is completely off the area before lunchtime (in Sept). The main pool sees a bit more sun but beds in the sun all seemed to be occupied by towels. This sprawling hotel (you’ll get your steps in) is well located and the staff smiling and mostly helpful.

The bathroom at the suite at the end of the hallway needs bigger drain and doors. Everything floods to easily. Otherwise, the unit was perfect. Lovely staff and good residential location.
